The Community Gathering is an opportunity for professionals and volunteers working in the culture, recreation and sport sectors to connect for a day of learning, networking, community building, and fun.

Guest presenters from throughout the South West District will shine a spotlight on a variety of topics and themes that build inclusive paths and bolster resilient individuals, organizations and communities. The day will begin with diverse Canadian stories to inspire us to build authentic communities, delivered by Travis Boser, creator and co-host of “Canada Out of the Closet”.

From there, engage in focused sessions on facility management OR leadership development, designed to empower and equip you with practical tools and strengths-based strategies. Participate in interactive discussions meeting community needs and enjoy a spotlight on community-building projects.

Conclude the day with dynamic table chats and talking circles, fostering meaningful exchanges and reflection.
